# "Forking runs is not enabled for your project please contact support"

Hello, I was trying to fork a project I have been working on but received this message. I emailed support yesterday regarding it but haven’t heard back yet.  
I haven’t seen any posts on the forum or info in the documentation about it, so while I’ve waiting for support I thought I’d make a post.

Has anyone encountered this issue and resolved it with or without support intervention? Does anyone know why support needs to be contacted in order to enable forking?

Good day and thank you for reaching out to us. Happy to help you on this!

Forking runs is a feature that is not enabled for our users by default so you need to reach out to wandb support team so they can enable it for you.

Have someone from support team reached out to you for this? If you have the reference number maybe I can help with that.
